Benguela - The Minister of State and Head of the Security House of the President of the Republic, Pedro Sebastião, Monday here highlighted the importance of the Integrated Centre of Public Security (CISP) of Benguela for tranquillity and well-being of the people.
Speaking at the inauguration of the centre of the National Police, the government official said that the infrastructure has multiple valences for security, with modern means to match the challenges of the country and it is a pride for citizens.
He said that "the Government is committed to defending the interests of the people and the suffered homeland, ensuring peace and public tranquillity".
Considering this also to be a gain of the 45 years of national independence, the State Minister called on the Benguela people to take good care of the newly-unveiled equipment.
He stressed that financial resources were scarce, hence the need to make a profit by maximum investments made.
On the other hand, Pedro Sebastião condemned the negative attitude of many citizens who abusively call to terminal 111, designed to respond to anomalous situations, with false information, a situation which unfortunately leads to the waste of resources that should be used for the security and defence of the institutions and the population.
