Government officials reiterates work to improve people’s conditions

Luanda - Angolan ministers of Health, Transport, Finance and Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Media, respectively, Sílvia Lutucuta, Ricardo de Abreu, Vera Daves and Manuel Homem reiterated commitment to improve the people living conditions.

As for the new legislature, marked by the investiture of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, and Vice-President Esperança Costa, the minister of Health Sílvia Lutucuta said that the Executive will continue to work on the improvement of the living conditions of all Angolans.

Meanwhile, the minister of Transport, Ricardo Abreu, predicted the coming into circulation of the surface metro in 2025, after the completion of part of Luanda facelift.

He announced existing  a 20-year master plan, aimed at improving infrastructure and public transport.

In his turn, the minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Media, Manuel Homem, spoke of the commitment to respond to the population's wishes, adding that the government will continue to develop the programme.

He described the continuous improvement of the sector, as well as the paradigm of social communication in the country as challenge, having already as guidelines the government programme for its implementation.

The Finance Minister Vera Daves said that the investiture ceremony is the beginning of a long journey of hard work, with the renewal of confidence in a leader committed to Angola.

She said there are policy measures related to the supply of goods, and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has a strategic plan.
