Luanda - Several documents, previously needed to handle different processes, are no longer required by the Central Public Administration Services.
The move is meant to streamline the process, dubbed “SIMPLIFICA 1.0” Project, according to the Presidential Decree 188/21, of 3 August and published in the country’s Gazette.
The provisions stem from the need to promote the implementation of the measures contained in the Simplification of Procedures in Public Administration (SIMPLIFICA 1.0).
The documents covered by this discontinuity include the criminal record certificate and the birth certificate, with the latter requiring only an identity card.
Other documents include the military registration, military status declaration, military authorisation to travel abroad and police declaration for requesting the re-issuance of the lost document .
According to the I Series of the Gazette nº 145, of 3 August, the exclusion is extensive to all administrative procedures, including ongoing processes.
SIMPLIFICA 1.0 Project was approved, under the State reform, through Presidential Decree nº 161/21, of 21st of June, which foresees several measures that obey a dynamic of gradual implementation.
