Luanda - The minister of Territory Administration, Dionísio Manuel da Fonseca, announced Friday the elaboration of several development plans, which will allow the reduction of social inequalities in the country.
The minister, who was speaking at the main celebration ceremony of the 47th anniversary of the National Independence, said the development plans will be included in the general state budget for each year, whose approval is up to the National Assembly (parliament) under the principle of interdependence of functions between the sovereign bodies.
The minister informed that these plans will enable to increase human development index, number of schools, health centers and municipal hospitals, water and electricity supply and improvement of basic sanitation.
The minister explained that the actions included in these plans, as long as they are properly financed, will also allow the construction of primary, secondary and tertiary roads, as well as those that ensure the connections between Angola and the neighbouring countries.
