Luanda - The Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, on Thursday expressed satisfaction that the Kingdom of Spain had chosen Angola as one of the first countries for the internationalisation of its economy.
"We are pleased to know that, within the framework of the policy of internationalisation of its economy, Spain has chosen Angola as one of the first countries to implement its strategy of internationalisation of the Spanish economy," he said.
The Angolan statesman was speaking to the press, at the end of the official talks between the delegations of both States, in the framework of the official visit to Angola of the President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez Pérez Castejón.
He considered that the decision of the Kingdom of Spain in the face of a world crisis not only in the field of health, but above all in the field of the economy of most countries in the world, was correct.
He recalled that the African continent has enormous natural resources that are poorly exploited.
He believes that this step and the choice of Angola, in particular, is beneficial not only for the Kingdom of Spain but also for the country, "mainly because we now have a market that goes beyond the borders of Angola, at a time when the African Continental Trade Zone has been created and has started operating.
