Luanda - Ambassador Guilhermina Prata presented, this Friday, the copies of her credentials to the Director of State Protocol and Diplomatic Events of France, Philippe Franc.
Appointed on January 20 this year, Guilhermina Prata will represent Angola in the French Republic, in the Kingdom of Monaco and in Liechtenstein.
According to a note ANGOP has had access to, the new ambassador, who replaces João Miranda, is expected to present the original letters of credence in April of the current year.
To remind that when she took office, on January 24, Guilhermina Prata pointed out as a priority the reinforcement of the cooperation relationship, which has been in existence for 46 years.
At the time, the diplomat said that Angola has the will to work towards implementing new cooperation lines in several areas.
Guilhermina Contreiras da Costa Prata was a member of the National Assembly, Minister of Justice and Vice-president of the Constitutional Court.
Angola and France have cooperation relations in the fields of education, culture, support for sustainable development, oil and the environment.
