Luanda – The Angolan Ambassador to Argentina, Azevedo Xavier, on Tuesday in Buenos Aires, Argentina, paid a visit to the multinational company Laboratorio Elea Phoenix S.A., with a view to attracting investment and transferring technology for production in Angola.
A note from the Angolan mission in Buenos Aires states that the ambassador visited all the company's facilities and learnt how it works.
The company is dedicated to the research, development and production of medicines for various medical specialities.
“We will do everything in our power so that ELEA and Angolan Private Investment and Export Promotion Agency (AIPEX) work together for the advantage of both countries”, said the ambassador during his meeting with the Business Director of Argentina's leading pharmaceutical company, Mario Foglia.
According to a note, the ambassador's visit took place as part of an audience that he granted to the CEO of the ELEA Group, Gustavo Pelizzardo, in August.
Based in Buenos Aires, ELEA produces more than 60 million different medicines every year and is represented in several countries.
