Luena - The Provincial Electoral Commission (CEP) of Moxico has already distributed the election materials in all areas, including hard-to-reach areas, to equip the polling stations.
The municipalities of Alto Zambeze, Luacano, Bundas and Luchazes are the four hard-to-reach areas identified by the Provincial Electoral Commission in eastern Moxico Province.
The election material distributed were polling station tables, ballot papers, voting booths and ballot boxes.
According to the spokeswoman for the CPE, Mulau Keshipoco, 3,752 people will be part of the 599 polling stations as staffers and 938 ballot tables in Moxico province are available for the elections on 24 August.
He said that 938 party agents and an equal number of substitutes had been accredited to supervise the electoral process in the province.
Angolans will vote on 24 August for the fifth time to elect the President of the Republic, the Vice President and the 220 MPs, with roughly 14.3 million voters.
The first four elections were held in 1992, 2008, 2012 and 2017.
Seven political parties and one coalition are running for the upcoming general elections.
