Cabinda – The Secretary of State of Home Affairs for Correctional Services José Bamoquina Zau urged on Tuesday in northern Cabinda province the readiness of the working staff, in order to ensure efficiency during the electoral process.
He also alerted the workers of the Home Affairs ministry to carry out with competence the tasks of national defense, public order, in order to preserve
State and private institutions, as well as ensure the rights of fundamental liberties of the citizens during the elections scheduled for the 24th of
August.
The government official, who is in Cabinda for a 4-day work visit, defended the participation of workers from the Ministry of Home Affairs in the
electoral process, with professionalism and pride, before, during and after the vote on the 24th of the current month.
He also stated that this responsibility should be continuous, and doubled with more efforts each time.
The work visit programme for this Wednesday includes travel to the municipalities of Belize and Buco-Zau.
The electoral process counts on the participation of the parties MPLA, UNITA, PRS, FNLA, APN, PHA, P-NJANGO, and the coalition CASA-CE.
