Luanda – The thirteenth day of the election campaign throughout the country was marked by some mass events and door-to-door awareness raising activities.
PHA
The Humanist Party of Angola (PHA), one of the two parties making its debut on the national political scene, has announced that it intends to mobilise more than 70,000 militants in Huila province by August 20 in order to elect at least one MP.
Speaking In Lubango city, southern Huila provinve, the provincial secretary of PHA, Victor Cena, said there is a huge process of mobilisation underway, so that the goal is achieved.
P-NJANGO
The Nationalist Party for Justice in Angola (P-NJANGO) presented on Friday in Luanda the main axes of its governance programme, if it wins the general elections set for 24 August .
Among the 11 pillars of its governance programme, the sectors of agriculture, education, health and housing were highlighted, presented in Maianga district, by the party's first vice-president, António de Barros.
In Huíla province, the Nationalist Party for Justice in Angola (P-NJANGO) is working hard this Friday, where it will present its governance programme, highlighting the sectors of agriculture, education, health and housing.
UNITA
In Cuando Cubango, the provincial secretary of UNITA, Francisco Gaio Kakoma, referred to the fact that the party plans to be committed to more on the agricultural sector, in order to eradicate hunger and poverty among Angolan families.
The politician called for the need to increase the allocation of the General State Budget (OGE), destined to agriculture, so that national production replaces the imports of basic goods.
This political party is also carrying out different door-to-door mobilisation actions in the city of Saurimo, Lunda Sul province.
FNLA
The FNLA, one of the historical national political parties, is focusing its activities on the province of Uige, where it has scheduled a mass event to present the main points of its government programme.
CASA-CE
The leadership of CASA-CE has also focused its activities on the east of the country, mainly in Moxico province, where its head of the list, Manuel Fernandes, has been visiting.
In Luanda, the party conducted an intense door-to-door political activity in order to "sell" its political arguments to the electorate.
APN
The first secretary of the National Patriotic Alliance (APN) in Bié, Ernesto Calungo, said on Thursday in Cuito that the citizens were behaving positively and mature during this phase of the electoral campaign.
PRS
The Social Renewal Party (PRS) on Friday in Saurimo, Lunda Sul province, held campaign and a mass rally.
In his speech, he stressed the need for quality and subsidised education, improvement of salaries and increase in employment in the country.
MPLA
On Friday, MPLA mobilised thousands of militants for a mass act with its leader in Uige.
In Zaire province, mainly in Cuimba municipality, the party's secretary general, Paulo Pombolo, appealed for a vote for the party during a mass political event.
MPLA's first secretary in Huambo, Lotti Nolika, interacted with vendors at the informal market in Quissala, one of the largest open-air markets in the country.
In Caxito, the deputy coordinator of the MPLA Political Bureau's monitoring group in Bengo province, Cândida Narciso, interacted with voters in the Kijoão Mendes neighbourhood, on the outskirts of Caxito city.
