Uíge - FNLA leader Nimi Simbi has sacked the northern Uige provincial secretary of party, Pinto Luvambo, over internal organisation" of the party's structures, ANGOP learned Wednesday.
Pinto Luvambo, 88 years old, held the position for 17 years.
In order to secure the management of this political organisation until the general elections on August 24, the party appointed a management commission, made up of three board members.
Speaking to ANGOP on Wednesday (10), the coordinator of the management commission, Tomás Pedro, said Luvambo was removed from the office on grounds of mismanagement , associated with internal organisation issues”.
"When FNLA Leader Nimi Simbi visited the northern Uige province last weekend, as part of the election campaign, he learnt of several problems related to the organisation, mobilisation and internal management of the party", the politician justified.
