Uíge - The MPLA's first secretary in northern Uíge province, Jose Carvalho da Rocha reaffirmed Thursday his party's commitment to deepen the reform of the Media and freedom of speech, if it wins the elections on 24 election.
José Carvalho da Rocha said so at meeting with journalists from different Media outlets, internet users and opinion makers.
At the meeting that served to present the party's electoral manifesto and governance programme, the official clarified that the deepening of the reform demonstrates the MPLA's concern with the peace-related issues.
He explained in detail the other axes included in the governance programme for the next five years.
Angola holds its fifth elections on 24 August this year.
