Luena – Broad Convergence for Salvation of Angola (CASA-CE) announced plans to stabilise the country’s economy if it wins the polls.
The announcement was made by its leader, Manuel Fernando, on Friday in Luena, Moxico province, stating that his political organisation may achieve this goal with support of the banking sector.
Presenting the party’s programme for 2022-2027, the politician
pledged to sponsor the national business community, which will create more jobs, with fair wages.
He promised to set up manufacturing plants in the country, mainly the province of Moxico, a potential producer of honey, a precious and internationally consumed product.
Manuel Fernandes also revealed the intention to take advantage of the potential of the arable land for agriculture and forestry in Moxico.
CASA-CE also announced reduction of Labour Income Tax (IRT), from 14 to 6%. The pledges include valuing the primary school teachers and implementing the teaching system of national languages, from the 5th grade.
During his two-day stay in the province of Moxico he will also preside over a political mass event in Camanongue municipality, located 52 kilometers north of Luena city.
Roughly, 14.3 million voters are eligible to vote in 2022 elections.
Seven parties and one coalition are participating in the polls.
They are MPLA, UNITA, CASA-CE (coalition), PRS, FNLA, PHA, P-NJANGO and APN.
