Luanda - UNITA carried out a door-to-door mobilisation campaign in the municipality of Cazenga, in Luanda province on Wednesday as part of the general elections on 24 August.
The provincial secretary of the party in Luanda Nelito Ekuikui led the activities that took place in the districts of Tala Hady and Hoji-ya-Henda.
UNITA focused on promises about improving the country's socio-economic situation if they win the election, appealing to vote for their party.
UNITA's electoral manifesto envisages, among others, the reform of the State and advocates greater quality of the education and health system, access to housing and employment, promotion of the market economy and eradication of regional asymmetries and facilitation of credits with subsidized interest.
Cuanza Norte
On the other hand, UNITA and PRS activists in northern Cuanza Norte province also carried out door-to-door mobilisation campaigns Wednesday, to present their respective electoral proposals and make known their position on the ballot paper.
In UNITA side, the activity was led by deputy provincial secretary of the party in Cuanza Norte, Lito Domingos Miguel, who informed that the party is working on the accreditation of the militants who will have to supervise the electoral process in the 523 polling stations in the province.
In turn, the provincial secretary of the PRS, Miguel João Gunza, said that the party selected approximately 150 delegates from the list for the inspection of polling stations.
