Luanda – Angola’s largest opposition party UNITA promoted Monday in the municipality of Cacuaco, Luanda province, a door-to-door campaign to mobilise voters for the election on the 24th of August.
The mobilisation served to raise voters' awareness of the importance of exercising citizenship rights and advantages, as well as convincing the electorates.
During the activity, UNITA officials called for the involvement of all militants, sympathizers and friends in mobilising the voting population for alternation in the country.
"We are going to create a participatory, inclusive government with free education at all levels, said UNITA's provincial director of Press Office, Buca Tanda, who called on everyone to go to the polls on August 24.
Eight political organizations are running for 2022 elections.
Roughly, 14.3 million voters are expected to vote this year.
