Luanda - The ambassador of Angola to the Kingdom of Spain, Alfredo Dombe, considered the achievement of peace, reached in 2002, in Angola, and the establishment of an exemplary national reconciliation process as fundamental pillars for building a prosperous and harmonious future.
Quoted in a press release to which ANGOP had access today, the diplomat, who spoke at the opening of the Day of Peace celebrations in Angola, marked on April 4, pointed out the consolidation of peace as a fundamental tool for building and rehabilitate the country,
In that event, held in the Kingdom of Spain, the ambassador said that Angola is creating development mechanisms that require the participation and inclusion of all Angolans.
The day celebrating the month of Peace opened this week, in the Noble Hall of the Diplomatic Mission, with a lecture addressed to members of the Angolan community residing in Spain.
This event aimed to celebrate the achievements reached in promoting peace in Angola and also served as a reminder of the work still necessary to guarantee a prosperous and conflict-free future for future generations.
Under the motto 'Building a solid future: The importance of Peace and National Reconciliation as engines of development', the celebrations of 22 years of peace in Angola will take place during the month of April, with activities such as round tables, cultural events , awareness campaigns and a thanksgiving mass in Spain.
The activities aim to inspire concrete actions and promote inclusive dialogue in favor of peace and national reconciliation, within the Angolan community residing in the Kingdom of Spain.
