Menongue - Angola Armed Forces (FAA) will be conducting military exercises on Tuesday (09) in the country’s south-eastern Cuando Cubango province, a military source said on Monday.
The exercises are part of the annual scheduled activities of the Armed Forces, under the guidance of the President João Lourenço, in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
According to the Lt Gen António de Jesus Fernandes, the military manoeuvres cover the three branches of the FAA.
They are: Army, the National Air Force and the Angolan Navy.
The Angolan head of State, João Lourenço, is due to attend the drills that will be held under the slogan "in peace we strengthen the Angolan Armed Forces".
