Lubango – The last hours, prior to the end of the ex-officio voter registration process, are marked by a high turnout in the Single Service Points (BUAP) and complaints made by users on alleged "slowness" of the operators.
This is the result of a survey conducted by ANGOP on Tuesday night, which enabled to determine until 8:50 pm that most points recorded overflow, mainly among young people, who wait for being assisted.
In Huíla, 427,135 voters were awaiting for being assistance, accounted for 95.75 percent of the estimates (446,109) made by authorities.
In 2017, some 897,465 were registered in the southern Huila province, with a population estimated at 3.1 million inhabitants, according to the data released by National Statistics Institute (INE) for 2022, based on the 2014 census.
