Luanda - The President of the People's Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA), João Lourenço, summoned the party's Council of Honourl for a meeting to be held on Wednesday, 23rd October.
During the meeting, participants will be informed about the preparation of the 8th Extraordinary Congress of the ruling party, especially the General Bases of the Call, the General Programme of the Congress, the composition and regulations of the National Preparatory Commission and its Subcommittees.
The meeting will also drfat the Indicative Programme of Actions for the Congress and the Structure of the Thesis dubbed “MPLA - Challenge of Independence, the future challenge”.
The Honor Council will take note of the Central Committee Resolution that guides the extension and creation of party bodies in 2024.
The meeting will also aim to provide information on national production and food security in Angola, as well as information on the Commemoration Programme for the 50th anniversary of national independence.
