Luanda - Members of the Angolan Community in the United Kingdom and diplomats will address, on Saturday, in a webinar (online video seminar), the meaning and gains of peace and national reconciliation.
The event will feature a lecture by the Angolan ambassador to the United Kingdom, Geraldo Sachipengo Nunda, who will speak on the topic “The decisions that shaped the history of our Country in the scope of National Security”.
The second lecture, with the intervention of the specialist in political science and historian, Fátima Moniz, will bring to the debate the theme “Framed in the 22 years of Peace: Redefining our view of the Angolan Reality”.
The webinar commemorates the twenty-second anniversary of the Day of Peace and National Reconciliation, celebrated on April 4th.
The seminar is organized by the Angolan Embassy in the United Kingdom and the Consular Post in London.
The day commemorating the anniversary will take place throughout the national territory, in Diplomatic and Consular Missions until the 25th of this month, under the motto “April 4th: Together for the Inclusive Country's Growth”.
One of its objectives is to instill in Angolans the ideals of peace, fraternity, solidarity, social justice, unity and reconciliation.
