Luanda – A multi-sector business delegation from Argentina is to carry out a working visit to Angola, from the 22nd to the 23rd of June, with the aim of making partnerships with Angolan businesspeople.
The Argentine ambassador in Angola, Alejandro Verdier, told press in Luanda that the mission will be made up of representatives of 25 companies linked to production of medicines, agricultural machinery, and maize and wheat traders.
The diplomat stressed that many Argentine investors are seeking for local manufacturing partnership to produce in Angola and export to third countries.
According to the diplomat, by investing or producing in Angola, they will be contributing to the diversification of the Angolan economy, according to the Executive's programme, guided by President João Lourenço.
Alejandro Verdier said that Angola must take advantage of its fertile and arable land to partner with Argentine on high technology and farming knowledge to achieve large-scale production of assorted kind of agricultural products for internal and external consumption.
Regarding bilateral cooperation, the ambassador stated that the two countries maintain excellent relations since 30 years ago, which include several areas of cooperation.
