Huambo - The Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) were urged Thursday to redouble efforts to maintain their military line of action, focused on the defense of the country's interests.
The exhortation was made by the second commander of the Central Military Region (RMC), Brigadier Sapalo Baptista Tchimuhenguele, at the opening of the 23rd Annual Review Meeting 2023/2024, representing the commander of the RMC, Lieutenant General Paulo Silva Xavier "Passix".
The brigadier said that the feeling of love for the country, cohesion and group spirit to drive the fulfillment of the Combative Preparation and Patriotic Education would make it possible to defend the country’s interests.
Sapalo Tchimuhenguele added that the year of instruction faced difficulties in terms of implementation of the programs outlined, due to various constraints, stressing that even so the Central Military Region Command made efforts, with few resources, prioritizing activities that allowed the institution to function.
The Centre Military Region, the fifth in the country, along with Luanda, East, North and South, includes the provinces of Benguela, Bié and Cuanza-Sul. ALH/AMP
