Chicala-Cholohanga - The commander of the army, General Jaque Raul, this Thursday in Huambo province, noted the need for the personnel to continue investing in academic and technical-professional training, in order to better serve the Angolan homeland.
The general was speaking at the end of the 19th basic military course, aimed at 1,355 young people from several religions in the country, which began last May, at the Soldiers' Training Centre, "Heroes of Kangamba", in Chicala-Cholohanga municipality, Huambo province.
The military official called for the strict compliance with the oath taken before the nation, for the defence of peace and national sovereignty, as well as capacity building in several areas, focusing on the challenges of globalisation.
Before an audience composed of general officers, superiors, members of the government, traditional authorities and civil society, the commander advised the parents of the instructed to provide all the necessary support, regardless of the region where they are called to serve the Homeland, with the perspective of obtaining the desired success.
