Luanda - The Council of Ministers (CM) on Wednesday in Luanda analysed the draft National Security Law to be sent to the National Assembly.
The aim to conform the current organization and functioning of the security system to the principles and standards established in the Constitution of the Republic of Angola.
The document also takes into account the national and international context, thus guaranteeing national independence and sovereignty, defense and territorial integrity, the democratic rule of law, the security of populations and their property, as well as the protection of national heritage

Foreign policy
On Foreign Policy, the meeting chaired by the President of the Republic, João Loureço, also approved bilateral cooperation instruments for submission to the National Assembly, relating to the resolution approving the agreement establishing Africa 50 (International Infrastructure Investment Organisation) for accession.
The legal co-operation instrument aims to promote infrastructure development in Africa, with funding coming from various sources, including share subscriptions, loans and grants from African and non-African sources.
The resolution approving the SADC Protocol for the Protection of New Varieties of Seeds (Seed Breeders' and Breeders' Rights) was also considered.
The document aims to stimulate the reproduction of seeds and the facilitation of agricultural progress for the benefit of farmers in the region, allowing them to have access to a new range of improved crop varieties and, at the same time, contributing to the achievement of the regional objective of economic development and food security.
The Resolution approving the Agreement establishing the Africa Finance Corporation - AFC, an African and multilateral financial institution, aims to respond to the lack of investment in Africa's infrastructure, with its portfolio of investment projects covering the transport and logistics, energy, minerals and oil sectors.
Finally, the Resolution approving, for accession, the Salamanca Declaration on Principles, Policies and Practices in the Area of Special Needs Education, with a view to guaranteeing inclusive education for children with disabilities, was analysed. PA/VIC/ADR/DAN/DOJ
