Luanda - Angola will host the 17th United States-Africa Business Summit from June 23 to 27, 2025, in the country’s capital, Luanda, to discuss and promote investment opportunities, innovation and partnerships between the public and private sectors, a statement from the Presidency of the Republic said Thursday.
According to the statement, the event of great strategic importance will bring together government and business leaders and investors from both continents, reinforcing the commitment between Africa and the US to strengthen economic, trade and investment ties.
Organized in collaboration with the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA), the summit will focus on areas such as infrastructure, energy, technology, agriculture and industry.
The event marks an important moment for Africa and the sustainable development of its economies, while strengthening relations with the American market.
The fact that the summit will be held in the Angolan capital is particularly symbolic, as it will take place in the year that marks the 50th anniversary of Angola's Independence on November 11, 2025.
It takes place at a time of great transformation and economic growth in Angola, solidifying its position as a key partner in the economic and political development of the African continent.
The United States-Africa Business Summit is a global forum that for more than two decades has strengthened commercial relations between African and American companies, providing a platform for dialogue between leaders and investors, with the aim of catalyzing new projects and partnerships that drive sustainable economic development on the African continent.
