Luandas – Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, this Friday in Luanda swore in new members of his Executive, to whom he wished success in their new functions.
“I seize the occasion to congratulate you on the trust bestowed on you to take up, as from now, new responsibilities”, stated the President and head of the Executive at the ceremony.
The Head of State swore in the following officials: Marques Correia, to the post of secretary of State for the Protection of Strategic Objectives of the National Defence Ministry; Ângelo Miguel Buta João, as secretary of State for Telecommunications and Information Technologies; and Augusto Laurindo Kalikemala as secretary of State for Tourism.
In the same ceremony, the head of the Executive also swore in Mário Edilson Gourgel Gavião as a Non-Executive Director of the Angolan Central Bank (BNA); Elizabeth Mafo Sapato Ayala as vice-governor of Moxico Province for political, social and economic matters; and Edgar Marcelino dos Santos Hilário as vice-governor of Huambo for technical services and infrastructures, besides other provincial governments officials.
