Luanda - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, will travel to South Africa on Wednesday for a state visit at the invitation of his counterpart, Cyril Ramaphosa, to outline strategies to strengthen cooperation.
According to the press services of the Presidency of the Republic, the agenda of the Head of State will only develop on Thursday and includes a meeting with President Ramaphosa, after protocol honors from the 'Union Buildings' Palace.
Talks will follow between the two government delegations, which will discuss strengthening cooperation in areas such as energy, defence, higher education, education, culture, youth and sports, among others.
The talks will lead to the signing of several cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding, instruments that will govern the coming times of relations between Angola and Nelson Mandela's country.
Another relevant highlight of the intense day of the visit in Pretoria will be the South Africa-Angola Business Forum, where President João Lourenço will speak, to present the opportunities of the potential for cooperation of the Angolan economy.
