Luanda - The Minister of the Interior, Manuel Homem, reiterated Tuesday in Luanda that candidates for the public tender for admission to the Foreign Emigration Service (SME) who submitted fraudulent documentation will be referred to the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC).
He told press that the process of evaluating the documents is underway to assess those that have met the required requirements.
Regarding those who do not meet the requirements for activity in the SME, the minister added that, in some cases, they will be dismissed, while offenders will be referred to the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC).
Border security
Manuel Homem said that border assurance is a concern on which they are working, making known the installation of surveillance equipment in order to strengthen the technical capacity to gradually solve the problems that still exist.
Improvement of the working conditions of the SIC
On the other hand, the minister said that they are dealing with transitional issues, in the sense that, in the coming days, the staff of the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) that works in the facilities located in the Popular neighborhood, will be transferred to infrastructures that offer better quality, while the approval process for the construction of the institution's new headquarters is underway.
