Cabinda – At least 172 foreign citizens in an irregular migratory situation in Angola’s northern Cabinda province have been expelled in the last seven days by the Migration and Foreigners Service (SME), The Ministry of the Interior (MININT) said Tuesday in a statement.
According to the statement, a total of 167 citizens were repatriated from Cabinda province, six citizens from the Republic of Congo were also expelled in the same condition from the Massabi border post.
The MININT in Cabinda reiterates the need to continue cooperating with other institutions and the population in the fight against illegal migration, with the aim of reducing the illegal entry of foreigners into national territory. JFC/SC/TED/AMP
