Luanda – MPLA’s Political Bureau recognized on Saturday in Luanda the historic role played by Angolan youth in defending national independence, in the efforts for national reconstruction and country's development.
In a message of congratulations on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of the youth wing of the party, marked this day, this body reiterates on this date, which coincides with the closing of the 9th Ordinary Congress of the JMPLA, its unwavering support for young Angolans, aware that they are the future of the Nation.
It also takes the opportunity to recognize the work carried out by JMPLA over the last five years and the success of this Ordinary Congress, where the vitality of the organization was celebrated and the foundations were laid for a new cycle of certainly more sustainable challenges.
The MPLA Political Bureau states that the founding of JMPLA, 62 years ago, occurred in the context of the national liberation struggle, in which the need to mobilize and organize youth for the challenges of the time stands out, especially the armed struggle for national liberation and the training of staff for Independent Angola.
The message states that the Political Bureau of the party is aware that JMPLA will continue to be the main ally and the guarantor of resolving the people's problems. ART/MRA/DOJ
