Luanda - The electoral campaign of the political parties contesting for the general elections on 24 August entered on Tuesday morning its 17th day with mass political rallies and mobilisation of voters.
The eight political organizations also elected party agents and presented their governance programmes for the next five years, during door-to-door vote hunting activities.
PHA
The president of the Humanist Party of Angola (PHA), Florbela Malaquias, presided over a mass event during which she presented her governance programme in Saurimo, Lunda Sul province.
P-JANGO
In Mbanza Kongo, Zaire province , P-NJANGO began training for 382 party agents.
UNITA
UNITA leader Adalberto Júnior headed Monday to Cafunfu, Lunda Norte, after Malanje, to conduct a mass rally this Tuesday (09).
FNLA
The National Front for the Liberation of Angola (FNLA) carried on its campaign in the province of Uige.
CASA-CE
In Moçâmedes, capital of Namibe, the President of the Broad Convergence for the Salvation of Angola - Electoral Coalition (CASA-CE), Manuel Fernandes, led a mass rally during which he presented his governance programme and mobilised the electorate.
CASA announced plans to training 850 party agents in Cabinda for the general elections on 24 August.
PRS
The Social Renewal Party (PRS), in the province of Uige, started on Tuesday the training of 1,820 party agents to supervise the elections on 24 August.
MPLA
The President of the ruling MPLA party left for Malanje province on Tuesday to hold a mass rally on Wednesday.
Constitutional Court
Under general elections, the President of the Constitutional Court, Laurinda Monteiro Cardoso, received in audience a mission of electoral experts from the European Union.
The meeting served to explain the role of the institution in the ongoing electoral process in the country.
