Luanda - The twelfth day of the election campaign throughout the country, which started on 24 July, was marked by some mass events, door-to-door awareness raising and the usual airtime on Angola National Radio (RNA) station as well as on Public Television (TPA).
PHA
If the Humanist Party of Angola (PHA) wins the general elections on 24 August, one of its priorities will be to value man in all spheres of social life “for being the centre of everything”.
According to the vice-president of the party, Suzana Sara, who is in Benguela Province as part of the election campaign, the government programme of her party envisages the improvement of the citizens living conditions.
P-NJANGO
The Nationalist Party for Justice in Angola (P-NJANGO) presented, in Luanda, four of the 11 key points of its governance, highlighting the sectors of agriculture, education, health and housing.
The presentation was made Thursday in Maianga district, by the first vice-president of this political force, António de Barros, proposing the reform of the land law, giving emphasis to family agriculture and mechanisation.
UNITA
The militants of the largest opposition party in Cunene Province on Thursday made direct contact with voters as part of the elections for 24 August.
FNLA
On Thursday in Uige Province 1,710 delegates of the National Front for the Liberation of Angola (FNLA), completed a training seminar to supervise the electoral process.
CASA-CE
The candidate for President of the Republic of Angola for the Broad Convergence for the Salvation of Angola (CASA-CE), Manuel Fernandes, promised on Thursday to create a protection subsidy for single mothers with minor children and without income, in case of winning the 24 August elections.
The residents of Kilamba Kiaxi Municipality of Luanda Province were mobilized by CASA-CE leaders in the scope of the campaign for the general elections on 24 August, which observed its eleventh day on Thursday.
In Cuando Cubango, CASA-CE dedicated attention to the voters at the markets of Tchivonde, Pandera and Paz, on the outskirts of the provincial capital, Menongue.
The president of CASA-CE, Manuel Fernandes, is expected Friday in the city of Luena, eastern Province of Moxico, where he will lead a mass political act to present the proposed governance programme, within the framework of the general elections.
APN
The first secretary of the National Patriotic Alliance (APN) in the Province of Bié, Ernesto Calungo, highlighted on Thursday in the city of Cuito the positive behaviour and maturity of citizens in this phase of the electoral campaign.
PRS
The Social Renewal Party (PRS) will advocate, in the National Assembly (parliament), the reform of the justice system and introduce the Life Sentence if it wins the 24 August elections.
MPLA
A campaign of “vote-hunting” for the 24 August elections was carried out Thursday by MPLA in informal markets located in the Carreira de Tiro neighbourhood, in Malanje, with the presentation to citizens of the party's electoral manifesto and government programme.
A similar activity took place in Cuando Cubango, promoted by the provincial secretariat of OMA, women wing of the ruling party.
