Cuito – President João Lourenço held a meeting this Wednesday morning with the members of the provincial government of Bié, to analyse the region’s socioeconomic situation, in the ambit of his two-day working visit to this central plateau Province.
The meeting evaluated the general state of the province, with emphasis on the execution of the Integrated Plan of Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM), considering the impact on the region.
Several government officials participated in the meeting.
On Thursday, the Head of State will go to Chinguar Municipality, where he is to learn of underway large-scale wheat production project in the Vinevala Farm, and, symbolically, witness the start of the harvest of this cereal, as well as visit a wheat and flour transformation plant.
After that, the President is to go to the Chipeta commune, in Catabola municipality, to check the function of the Paz Ceramics plant, among other undertakings. ALH/PLB/ART/jmc
