Luanda – Angolan resident João Lourenço returned Saturday afternoon to Luanda after a few-hour visit to the province of Cuanza Norte.
João Lourenço had been in northern province to learn about the progress of construction work on the Caculo-Cabaça Hydroelectric Dam.
In Caculo-Cabaça, the president pressed the button that “symbolises” the beginning of the Kwanza River's detour aimed to start the works on the Caculo-Cabaça Hydroelectric Facility.
The infrastructure has a capacity of 2,272 megawatts of electricity.
In Ndalatando, the capital of Cuanza Norte province, the Angolan Head of State visited the construction works of the general hospital.
