Luanda - Political parties competing for 24 August elections acknowledged on Friday the human and technical investments of the National Counting Centre, after a visit to the institution.
CASA-CE representative, Carlos Jacinto, told the press that he had a good impression of what he saw at the Center, where conditions had been created for the processing of data from the municipal commissions, in record time.
MPLA's Opinion
In turn, the MPLA representative Pedro Neto stressed the fact that the facilities have the technology and organisation to receive from all the base structures the data so that the "process can be considered free and fair" .
"It is true that we do not have a great experience in the field of technology, and some questions may arise in relation to the way the process will take place. But after the explanation that we had we are absolutely convinced that there will be no reason for complaints regarding the whole process," he said.
UNITA
UNITA's representative, David Horácio Junjuvile, after having been briefed on the operation of the data said he had the impression that an enormous structure was assembled", which, according to him, this structure is three times greater than the one that existed before.
FNLA
João Roberto Soki of FNLA said "in theory things are fine, all that remains to be seen is if there is correspondence with the practice, hence we await the outcome of the process".
The centre also has other service areas supported by three shifts with 120 people each.
Angola will held its fifth elections to elect the President of the Republic, the Vice President, and the 220 MPs for the National Assembly.
