Luanda - The Aquila business group, from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Tuesday in Luanda expressed interest in investing in the agriculture and health sectors, aiming to contribute to the development of Angola.
The intention was expressed to the Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, by the leader of the business group of the Dubai royal family, Sheikh Mohammed Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, who was received in an audience at the Presidential Palace.
Angola is a country with great potential, he said, in sectors such as agriculture.
He went on to stress that the UAE hopes to have some opportunities in several sectors, so that it can develop projects in Angola.
Asked about the amount of the investments, Sheikh Mohammed said that his team would continue working to officially present the amounts to be invested.
The businessman also expressed his group´s intention to invest in the photovoltaic energy sector, which he considered “important and strategic”.
