Luanda - The Inter-ministerial Commission for the implementation of the National Staff Training Plan (CI-PNFQ) approved on Monday, in Luanda, the 2024 Angola Human Capital Operational Plan (ACH- 2023-2037).
This was approved during the 2nd ordinary meeting of this body presided over by the Vice-President of Angola, Esperança da Costa.
According to the Commission's spokesperson, Edson Barreto, the 2024 Angola Human Capital (ACH) Operational Plan, 2023/2037, defines the implementation of seven operational programs, known as the action program.
Among these are professional technical education, aimed at securing knowledge, skills and learning to enhance human capital to adapt them to the country's development needs.
The program includes training for technical graduates and postgraduates to enable the county to have qualified human capital for the development of the national science, technology and innovation system.
It also aims to ensure the availability of teachers in quality and quantity to face the challenges of the country, turn public and municipal administration more efficient in providing services to the citizens, as well as entrepreneurship to contribute to the promotion and development of a business environment capable of enhancing the country's development.
Edson Barreto added that the operational plan for 2024, at the technical and professional training level, aims to revitalize teaching in this area with a set of products implemented and achieved.
Barreto highlighted that, in the first half of this year, 340 young people were trained in education to reinforce the teaching staff in several schools spread around the country.
The official said the commission also approved the Angola Human Capital Communication Plan - ACH 2023-2037, which aims, among other goals, to mobilize and involve public and private institutions for its materialization, guide investors on the priorities in training and improve public opinion about profile and quality.
Barreto added that the plan, which targets Angolan society, provides for the use of humanized communication, public relations, digital communication and advertising, as well as the principles and values of proactivity, transparency, innovation and legality.
Led by the Vice-President, the CI-PNFQ,, is responsible, among other duties, for ensuring the dynamism of inter and intra-institutional cooperation between the various institutions with competences in matters of Education, Teaching and Staff Training. FMA/SC/AMP
