Dundo - The Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) in eastern Lunda-Norte province seized a total of 100,000 fake US dollars and an additional fake 25 million Kwanzas in possession of a 32-year-old national, the SIC spokesperson Graciano Lumanhe told ANGOP on Friday.
According to the SIC spokesperson, the agents in the fields also seized material used to counterfeit the currency, such as colored liquids, A4 papers and other items.
Lumanhe said the perpetrator was arrested inside a house, where he was counterfeiting dollars and kwanza banknotes to inject in the Angolan financial market.JVL/HD /TED/AMP
