Luanda – National Patriotic Alliance (APN) party starts its electoral campaign on 30 July, in Mbanza Kongo, northern Zaire province, with a rally, march and door-to-door mobilidation of citizens.
The electoral campaign, ahead of the August 24 general elections, officially begins on July 24.
This will be the second time that the APN, led by Quintino Moreira, to run for the General Elections, after having participated in August 2017, in which it obtained 0.5% of the votes, an insufficient percentage for Parliament seat.
The APN was founded by Quintino Moreira in 2015, almost two years after the extinction of Nova Democracia – União Eleitoral (ND), a coalition of six political parties that won two seats in the 2012 Elections.
Its Head of List, Quintino Moreira, was born in the municipality of Dembos, province of Bengo, on August 15, 1968.
He is son of a war veteran and married to Nádia Patrícia da Silva Cunha.
