Caxito - The Inspector General of Zimbabwe's defense forces, Major General Paul Chima, is in Angola’s northern Bengo province to exchange experience in the general defense inspection field between the two countries.
Paul Chima was received in the audience by the provincial governor, Maria Antónia Nelumba, with whom he discussed various aspects.
The Major General said that the purpose of the visit is to deepen his knowledge of inspection activities in the defense and security forces.
The inspector general of National Defense, Former Combatants and Veterans of Angola's Homeland, General Sá de Gouveia Miranda, on his turn explained that his counterpart's visit is aimed at increasing levels of exchange, since both countries are part of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) group.
General Sá de Gouveia Miranda the visit also aims to standardize inspection activities with the defense and security forces belonging to SADC.
The governor of the province, Maria Nelumba, seized the opportunity to invite Zimbabwean investors to invest in the region.
"We have some similarities, especially in agriculture and meat production, which is an area that Zimbabwean investors could use to cooperate with us," the governor said. CJ/IF/AMP
