Luanda – Angola and Serbia discussed Friday in Luanda the issues related to the strengthening of cooperation in the fields of defence and security.
This was during a meeting between the minister of State and Head of the Military Affairs Office to the President of the Republic, Francisco Furtado, and the Serbian ambassador to Angola, Milos Perisic.
The meeting follows the visit of minister Francisco Furtado to Serbia, from the 25 to 28 January this year.
The two interlocutors also analysed the issues linked to the mechanism for implementing the agreements signed between the two countries, in several areas.
Angola and Serbia signed in 2022 in Belgrade four legal instruments, including a memorandum of understanding on political consultations between the Ministries of Angolan Foreign Affairs and Serbian Foreign Affairs, as well as an agreement on visa exemption in diplomatic and service passports.
