Luanda - Angola and Kenya Thursday in Copenhagen, Denmark, assessed the level of bilateral cooperation in the political, diplomatic, economic and commercial fields.
This took place at a working meeting between the Angolan foreign minister, Téte António, and the Prime Minister and Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Minister of Kenya, Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi, on the sidelines of the meeting of foreign ministers from Nordic and African countries.
For roughly half an hour, the two diplomats discussed the implementation of the Luanda and Nairobi processes, led by the two countries, two important instruments for achieving peace in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi praised Angolan president João Lourenço, for his role as Champion of Peace and Reconciliation of the African Union, encouraging him to continue his efforts to bring peace to the African continent.
Angola and Kenya have a long history of common ties, dating back to before the national independence of the two countries, and excellent political relations. FMA/ART/TED/AMP
