Luanda – The Angolan ambassador to Poland, Manuel Pedro Chaves, affirmed on Sunday in Krakow that Angola combines efforts to achieve sustainable development, consolidate peace, solidarity and fraternity among all.
For the diplomat who spoke at the ceremony celebrating the 49th anniversary of National Independence, “It is not yet the Angola that was dreamed of, but we are sure, since the ax and weapons of war were buried and peace was established on the 4th of April 2002, things continue to move towards this goal”.
According to a press release, Manuel Chaves highlighted that Angolans achieved peace and stability through dialogue, regardless of party affiliation, ethnicity, religious belief, gender, race or social background.
In his speech, in an event attended by dozens of Angolans residing in Poland, the ambassador highlighted the Lobito corridor and the Dr. António Agostinho Neto international airport as important achievements for the country's development.
