Luanda - Angola condemned on Monday, the attack against the republican candidate for president of the United States of America (USA), Donald Trump, which took place on Saturday (13).
Speaking to the press, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, expressed astonishment and repudiated the political violence, wishing Donald Trump a speedy recovery.
He said that Angola, like the rest of the world, cannot remain indifferent when paying attention to the life of a US presidential candidate.
“Political violence is not the solution to coming to power, nor to solving problems”, he lamented.
The former President of the United States, Donald Trump, was shot in the right ear during a rally, Saturday, 13, in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Trump received treatment at a health facility.
