Luanda - The Speaker of the National Assembly Carolina Cerqueira has called for Saturday's Extraordinary Plenary Meeting of the 2nd Legislative Session of the 5th Legislature.
According to the notice to which ANGOP has had access, the summoning of MPs complies with article 42(c), in conjunction with article 44(c), both of the National Assembly's Rules of Procedure.
According to the document, the meeting will have as its sole item "the Proposal for the Creation of an Eventual Commission on the Process of Accusation and Impeachment of the President of the Republic", signed by 90 MPs from the UNITA Parliamentary Group, under the terms of Article 284(3) of the National Assembly's Rules of Procedure.
