Menongue - MPLA bets on victory in the general elections, scheduled for August, with the launch of the Political Agenda 2022, said this Friday in Menongue the party's first secretary in Cuando Cubango, José Martins.
In statements to the press at the end of the event, José Martins said that women, men, young people, former combatants, ex-FAPLA and peasants are mobilised.
He said it was a mobilisation for voting in the August general elections, in order to confirm the victory of MPLA and its candidate in the polling stations.
Jose Martins considered it fundamental that the party he represents continues to work hard to solve the population's problems.
The leader condemned the acts of vandalism that have occurred a little by all the country and that put in cause the healthy coexistence and the peace.
The MPLA's first secretary in Huambo province, Lotti Nolika, said that the guidelines set out by the party's president, João Lourenço, opened the way for further work.
Lotti Nolika said that peace, achieved 20 years ago, required everyone's commitment to preserve it, taking into account the country's growth and the consolidation of democracy.
