Cuvango - The Mumba Farm, located on the banks of the Cubango River, in Cuvango municipality, Huíla province, was chosen as one of the main settings for the recordings of a new soap opera by the Portuguese network TVI, which is expected to debut in November this year, ANGOP learned.
TVI is a television network that stands out in the production of fiction content in Portugal, some of which with the participation of Angolan actors and with a focus on Angola.
According to the statement, the new fiction production, with the provisional title 'Huíla', takes place between Angola and Portugal and will promote Angolan landscapes and culture, showing, in particular, the potential of tourism in this southern province of Angola.
'Fazenda Mumba not only stands out as a privileged setting for the new TVI soap opera, but also reinforces its commitment to contributing to the development of tourism in Angola, offering visitors a combination of history, culture and nature,' reads the statement reached ANGOP today, Wednesday.
Mumba, dedicated to agribusiness, develops its activity in 90 thousand hectares, of which 20 thousand are fully used in cattle production and vegetable protein for animals. It is located 45 kilometers east of the municipal town of Cuvango and 120 kilometers east of Menongue (Cuando Cubango). EM/MS/DOJ
