Luanda - Angolan musician Serpião Tomás, aka Totó ST, is to release his new album at the Palácio de Ferro on Saturday (24 Feb) in the Province of Luanda.
Entitled "A Forma do Amor" (The Shape of Love), it is already available since 14 February in digital format. It has 11 tracks and was produced by Totó ST in Angola, Portugal and France.
Serpião Tomás, whose stage name is Totó ST, is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and music producer.
He began his career at the age of 14, collaborating with Angolan artists such as Os Kalibrados, Génesis and Yannick Afroman.
He has also written songs for other well-known Angolan artists such as Pérola, Selda and Sandra Cordeiro.
His artistic streak brings together true fusion of Afro-jazz, funk, blues, soul, r&b and kilapanga, and has given a special energy to the prestigious jazz and world music festivals in which he has participates.
In 2015, Totó ST shared the stage at the Jazzing Festival held in Luanda with Diane Reeves and Nigerian singer Nneka. He has also written songs and performed with the Nigerian singer Keziah Jones.
