Talatona-The religious authorities of the Tocoist Church intend to turn the town of Ntaya, in northern Uíge province, into a tourist region, the Bishop Afonso Nunes said Sunday in Luanda.
Ntaya, considered by the faithful of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the World to be the holy city of the Tocoists, recently witnessed the foundation stone for the construction of the Mausoleum of the prophet Simão Gonçalves Toco, as part of the International Tocoist Youth Day.
Without giving a date, Dom Afonso Nunes, who was speaking to the press at the end of the closing of the religious ceremony marking the 75 years of evangelization, promised to improve the image of the town, with the installation of social services, with the aim of transforming the place into an attractive area.VS/MAG/TED/AMP
