Luanda - Angolan stylist Soraya da Piedade was selected, after a rigorous evaluation process, to present her new collection at Africa Fashion Up, in Paris (France).
This is the first event organized in Paris dedicated to contemporary African fashion, to take place on September 17th, an initiative by the international top model Valérie Ka, a native of Cote D’Ivoire, in partnership with Balenciaga.
Soraya da Piedade is the only Angolan and PALOP stylist invited to this parade, which will take place at the Hotel Salomon de Rothschild, classified as a historical monument, located in the heart of the city of love, near the Arc of Triumph.
The aim of Africa Fashion Up is to show African creativity through fashion, with the intention of becoming a showcase for a new generation of designers, without forgetting its roots in history and tradition.
